On May 10, 2023, the first batch of equipment for the Green Energy Technology New Energy Supporting Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park project entered the site. This is another milestone event for the Jiuquan Green Energy Technology Equipment Co., Ltd. New Energy Supporting Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park project since the closure of the office building and apartment building in March this year.



The project is invested and constructed by Kunming Cable Group. The project is divided into three phases, with a total investment of 510 million yuan and an area of 157 mu. It mainly includes: the project with an annual output of 50000 kilometers of wires and cables, 1GW solar cell modules, 20000 Solar inverter, 20000 photovoltaic combiner boxes, 1000 power distribution cabinets, 4 million solar module junction boxes, and 200000 smart meters.



Jiuquan Green Energy Technology Equipment Co., Ltd. is a holding subsidiary of Kunming Cable Group Kundian Cable Co., Ltd. Kunming Cable Group, formerly known as Kunming Cable Factory, was founded in 1936 and is the first wire and cable production enterprise in China's national industry. It is the birthplace of China's first wire and enjoys the reputation of "the cradle of China's wire and cable industry". Kunming Electric Power Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kunming Cable Group Co., Ltd., and is the production and operation entity of Kunming Cable Group.



The project started construction in September 2022 and is planned to be completed and put into operation in June 2023. After all projects are completed and put into operation, it is expected to achieve an annual sales revenue of 3.87 billion yuan, pay taxes of 95.8 million yuan, and provide employment opportunities for over 870 people. It is of great significance for promoting the development of our city's new energy equipment manufacturing industry.
